google translate
I have phpmyfaq 2.7.9 setup and running perfectly except for one issue. I went ahead and set up a google account and I put the api in the configuration and activated the google translate option but nothing seems to be translating.
Is the google translate option not working even if we provide a paid api key?

Re: google translate
Hi,
you need a paid API key since last year. This is why we'll drop the Google Translate feature or move to Bing in 2.8

Re: google translate
no errors. I put in the google api code in the configuration settings, checked the box to activate google translate, and then saved. everything else looks good just nothing is translating. Since I've never tried to use the google api with phpmyfaq maybe I am not looking in the right place.
http://ticketing.wowwelive.com/faq/ is the url if you want to take a look.
Could it be because we manually translated out category titles? would that interfere with the google translate?

Hello Thorsten,
I know you have been busy, especially with the holidays, but have you had a chance to check my google translate problem?
Thank you.

Re: google translate
Hi,
yes, sorry!
Google Translate v1 API is offline, Google only supports v2, for which you have to pay now.
We already removed that feature in 2.8.0-beta2, we're currently investigating about Bing Translate.
Sorry for that.
Cheers

Re: google translate
So, a v2 Google Translate API key will not work in phpmyfaq? I did purchase a v2 API key and put it in the admin configuration.
If this is the case can you point me to what files I can find the translate functions? I'd love to take a look and see if I can't help figure out how to convert it to use Bing or the V2 Google Translate.
Thank you for responding!
