problem with "Password forgotten?"

hi,
I work with phpmyfaq 2.8.3 and I have a problem with option "Password forgotten", When I submit the email address and I click send button, I don't receive an email and after it's impossible to connect with my account.
It's a bug or just a problem with my computer?
I have tested different email adresses but it's always a same problem

Hi,

is sending e-mails via PHP working for you at all? We're just using the PHP mail() funcationality.

Hi,

sorry, phpMyFAQ is just using the internal mail() function of PHP. Is mailing working on your server with other scripts?
