New FAQ "Link For This FAQ"

Unfortunately you can't search for this term "Link For This FAQ" on the phpBB and my manual searching did not return anything useful ...

When you create a new FAQ on the front end you are required to supply a URL for "Link For This FAQ". Can someone explain what this is supposed to be?
Is the user supposed to create some arbitrary URL for this specific document? I am unclear on this usage.

Let's say we have the system up at http://faq.somehost.com/ and a new FAQ is create, what should go here?

(It seems to be an optional reference to some other URL. As of version 2.8.8, it provides negative feedback if left empty yet a new FAQ is generated. This is not intuitive and likely a bug)

This is indeed a bug and has been addressed as per Thorsten.
This field is for referencing an optional URL.
