WYSIWYG

Post by devika »

HI,

I am using phpMYFAQ.1.4.2.

Do I have to do anything explicitly to enable the WYSIWYG editor?

When I 'Create Entry' and write anythng into the Content area, none of the formatting gets saved.

Please let me know.

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

do you see the WYSIWYG editor in the admin section? Which browser do you use?

hi,

In the admin section, on clicking Create Entry, I do see the various buttons for 'Insert Image', 'Insert Hyperlink', 'Left justified' etc and all such other formatting options.

I am assuming you are calling this the WYSIWYG editor.

Also, if i try using them (e.g. background colour) it is usable in that content window and works as expected. However if I click on preview or if I save and see the entry on the FAQ.. all the formatting is lost.

I have tried it on IE and Mozilla Firefox.

Thank you!

Hi Thorsten,

The FAQ is on my company network , hence I cannot have you see it. Too bad :(

What else can I do on my side to enable and set this up?

Thanx!
