Question: Sort categories alphabetically

Hi guys,

I have a quick question. Is it possible as the title says to sort the categories alphabetically ?

For example, I have these categories:

Cars
*Acura
* Fiat
*Honda

Now if I would like to add 'Ford' it would show up on the bottom and I would need to click on "Move category". This is extremely time consuming if a list has more than 10 items as I need to move alot of items across just to organize one item.

It seems that the categories are displayed by the date they have been added. Is it possible to tell phpmyfaq to sort them automatically by name?

It appears it is, unfortunately only for people who speak German

According to this other thread: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10193 by changing ORDER fc.id to fc.name achieves exactly this.

Thank you very much however i had to use Google translator as my German is not the best.
