Cool story, no solution in my head...

Post by Ambalizzy »

First of all, i downloaded, installed, started to configure, and saw that russian names (written in cyrillic characters) don't show properly, only something like ????? ????????. Then i tried to fix it, seeking for solution on the forums, found something, maybe not right solution, but when i used it, it started to happen...
white screen everywhere except update.php and install.php...
Even reinstalling(delete files, put on ftp again, install) haven't helped... same white pages...
Debug mode haven't helped too... nothing shows up...

1) how to make names to show up properly?
2) how do i solve these white pages?

Hi,

you have to use an UTF-8 enabled MySQL database to get a correct output.

Because of the white pages: I don't know what you changed so I cannot give you any hints on that issue.

Hi,

if you get white pages, you have fatal errors. Do you have any error logs from your webserver?

Hi,

so you get always white pages? The entries in your error log don't have anything to do with your issue.
