Advanced statistics

Post by kongen »

Hi

I am just about to set up a site with phpmyfaq, it seems to be just what i needed :)

But I would like some advanced statistics, so I can easily see a list of visitors, referrers, browsers etc. etc.

I think it's a bit hard to get an overview in the script today. Can any of you recommend a good script for statistics, and which file should i include the script in?

Hope one of you guys can help me out :)

As I see it, they are supposed to be installed on the web server directly, right?

Unfortunately i do not have that option, and need a script to include in the .php files from phpmyfaq.

Hi,

some rough informations are shown in the user tracking statistics in the admin section of phpMyFAQ. If you want more you or myself have to extend this.

Hmm, i have found a free statistics script, but now i am a bit confused, about which file(s) to include the code into.

Is there some kind of header or footer.php, or similar, that is shown on every page? Because then that's propably the best place to put it.
