Due to an impending reorganisation of an internal IT support structure which is due to complete by the 1st of December, I need to modify an existing faq installation which is currently used by an existing support team only, into a system which can be used by three different groups of staff, i.e. end users, first line support, second line support.
End users would see very basic information e.g. the question and a very simple answer
First line support would see a more detailed version of the information, e.g. what the end user sees & how to enable what the end user has requested etc.
Second line support would see the most detailed view of the information e.g. what both the other groups see, why things are done the way they are & how to implement additional options etc.
Is there anyway I could create a single faq containing various blocks of text suitable for the different groups mentioned above which are flagged in some way so that they are only visable to members of one or more user groups.
I know I could create three different versions of each faq and make each version visable to only one user group or I could create three seperate faq installations and hold the faqs for each group in a seperate system.
But neither solution is very elegant and both can lead to confusion and errors when someone adds new faqs or edits existing ones, due to having to edit the same information in several places.
Any help or advice would be most appricated, as deadlines are looming.
Thanks Kevin

Hi,
we don't support inline permissions but you could handle it with the group support feature of phpMyFAQ.
