HELP!! IIS5 Rewrite Problem

Post by heerq »

Hi,

I'm a newbie phpMyFAQ user. Yesterday I installed phpMyFAQ 2.5.7 in Window XP with IIS 5.1. I added IIS rewrite dll to the ISAPI filter and renamed the _httpd.ini file to httd.ini (and put it into the wwwroot folder). I also modified both UriMatchPrefix and UriFormatPrefix from /phpMyFAQ/ to / (since my installation of phpMyFAQ is put below the wwwroot folder). Afterwards, I restarted my IIS and enabled the mod_rewrite option, but yet I still got http 404 not found error. The error messages in httpd.parse.errors are
"Line 31: Unrecognized string: UriMatchPrefix / Line 32: Unrecognized string: UriFormatPrefix /".

Anyone has an idea? Any help will be appreciated.

besides the above problem. I also got a http 405 access denied error while trying to login as admin on the index page of phpMyFAQ. In my installation, I can only login at the admin page through /admin/index.php. Anybody knows the cause?

Many thanks!

Hi,

only 2.6.19 or 2.7.1 is supported.

I know in 2.7.1 there are some bugfixes for the rewrite.

Hi JochenS ,

Thanks a lot! I'm going to try the version 2.6.19. Hope I can get through this time.

Hi. I've got the same problem, but the solution you posted here doesn't seem to work.
Maybe I did something wrong...
Try mkv file player - it's worth it.
