Categories not visible!

Hello,
I am using v. 2.7.6. Till yesterday everything was working fine. But today i can see the categories only on the portal and not i the administration backend. I can not edit or create categories or FAQs. Any suggestions?

this seems to be strange. Do you get any error messages?
