First of I would like to thank you all for this great tool. keep up the good work.

I have some question:
- Is, or will there be a way to search within Word or PDF attachments?
- Is, or will there be a way to have a mailing list option?
- Is, or will there be a way to assign different managers to different categories?

Maybe, but I don't know how to realize this.

What do you mean exactly?

Yes, this is already implemented by someone and will be available in phpMyFAQ 1.6.

People can join a mailing list and wil be receive an e-mail wenever there is a new entry and admin can send a message to all members of this mailing list.
