Attachments lost after migration

Post by MRi »

Hi!

I used a migration vom 2.04 to 2.5.7 and than to 2.8.3.
I can see the attachments in 2.5.7 butin version 2.8.3 all attachments seam to be gone.

I read the docs and there is a tipp to read the migration section. But I can not see such a section.
What did I miss?

All folders are still unencrypted in the directory structure...

TIA
Martin

Hi,

please upgrade to 2.6 first, there's a migration guide.

OK I found the attachment.php in the install folder.
After restoring my files from 2.5.7 and performing the update to 2.8.3 I was able to call the attachment.php and my files exists and are accessible.

But as I see now, it is only possible to download a file if a user is logged on to the system... were are the public rights?

I can set permissions to registered users & groups.
But how to set persmissions to anonymous users?

Hi,

this will be possible with your feature request or by removing the permission check.
