Hi,
I'm running phpmyfaq in a Windows / IIS / SQL Server environment, from a server at home.
I have a dynamic IP address and am therefore using a dynamic dns service to access the server externally.
Is it possible to access phpmyfaq using both the internal server name, and the external dynamicdns name?
When I originally set this up, I browsed to the internal server name when running the setup.php, and therefore I was unable to access it externally.
All links were configured with the internal server name.
I therefore started again, and browsed to the setup.php using the external dynamicdns name.
This worked fine, and all links were accessible externally.
However, the problem with this is that when browsing the site now from home, I can't access it directly on the LAN.
Instead I have to access it using the external dynamicdns name, which adds a performance overhead.
Is it possible to configure the site so that I can access it using either the internal or external names?
Thank you for your help
Steve

Re: Web Server name in url
Actually, I think I've realised that this is my lack of understanding how webservers work.
I presume that my webserver should be named the same as my dynamicdns name, or alternatively use a hosts entry when accessing it internally.
