Visable posts - How to activate

Post by Justabloke »

Be nice to me, not very good with this type of thing.

I'm running phpMyFAQ 2.8.5 which was upgraded from a very early version. I've not added new Q's & A's since the upgrade, so may have been a bug since then. When I add a new QA or edit an existing QA there is a button on the edit screen 'Visible: No' which is activated by default, I can not get it to de activate, so if I edit an existing QA or create a new one and save, its no longer visible on the public/live side of the site. What directory/file is this bit of code located in? I'm thinking I could change the default, or am I way off?

My host has kindly done some work on my site to get it up and running again. I thought he'd gone to the latest version, but still says old version.

What file and where can I alter the default radio button to 'off' for visibility as shown in the image as I can't get it to operate. I understand there is supposed to be an option in the main configuration to do this, but I can't see it.

Thanks

Hi,

looks like the permission to activate the FAQ is missing for your user.
