Remove "visitors" options in the menu?+some other

Post by JohanLM »

First off.
I JUST installed your script and Im totaly blown away. You have solved a number of issues in one go that I was convinced I would have to get severall different scripts for.
Im EXTREMLY gratefull for this grate little "toy"!

Now...
A few short questions if anyone got the time.
When you look at the page as a "visitor" you see the top menu:::
Search l Add Content l Ask Question l Open Question l Help l Contact

Is there anyway one can "turn off" some options. I'd like to get rid off the Add Content & Open Question for example. Is there a way or do I have to remove the links all together from the menu?

Is there anyway to turn off the voting system?
Or do I have to remove the code?

Also this thingy:
Template system:
Custimize your FAQ to your webdesign.
*scratches head*
Been checking high & low in the menus, but cant find any?

How about Fonts. Is it possible to get verdana in the wysiwyg editor?

Thx again. :)
And pardon me for the questions.

just remove the links in the template file index.tpl.

no, just remove or hide the voting stuff in the template file artikel.tpl.

What do you mean exactly? :-)

If you define Verdana in the style.css file as current font, all fonts are displayed as Verdana. :-)

I thought it MAYBE could have been an option in the menu of the Adminsection somewere. Kinda "spoiled" with things like phpBB, MXsystem and simillar were you can turn on and off options in the those menus. ;)
or some kind of template menu in the Admin section, simillar to the phpBB. When you write custimize yout FAQ to your webdesign I guess you mean I have to alter the code myself?

Thanks for all the answers Thorsten and keep up the good work. ;)

People normaly dont put much work into that bit. 3 thumbs up! :D
