first thoughts on 1.4.0

been setting it up for one day.. (I was not involved with the betas - sorry

)

1. the WYSIWYG editor does not always show.

2. I can not set cookies from admin screen. Get many errors.
First error is: Notice: Undefined variable: PMF_CONST in /home/hsphere/local/home/ ... /faq.1.4.0/admin/index.php on line 35

3. I had a category with 2 sub categories. All had no entries in them. I deleted the top category. Then I had errors on various pages since the 2 child categories had no parent. (I deleted these rows from the category table to stop the errors)

4. Ordered lists do not show correctly in the FAQ. In the preview in Admin they show with the numbers. When you view the entry normally there is no 1. 2. etc on each row). Some CSS problem..?

5. When I do get the wysiwyg entry screen, I can not select the top FAQ entry link from the drop down list to insert the internal link. Selecting others works but not the top one.

6. There is an entry at the bottom of the FAQ entry drop down list that says "Variable name". (on the wysiwyg part for inserting internal links)

will post more if I find more.

7. On the Edit Record screen. Some content text is you can't. I press Preview and all is good. Pressing the Back button to go back to Edit Record changes my test to you can"t.

i.e. it changes the single quote ' to a double one "

Question: What is the Category Description used for?

I thought it might be used for the tooltip for the categories menu, but no.

Then I thought it would be shown somewhere in the content when a category is selected, but no!

Not really a bug but a tweak request.

The entry box for adding news on the News Admin screen is much too small. Please make it a little larger.

(I guess I can change this myself but it would be nicer in the main release.)

yes, it should appear as tooltip but I forgot to implement this. My fault....

There should be appearing the same WYSIWYG editor like the one for the categories....

testing the 1.4.1 RC1 you sent me..

Can no longer delete a top level that has children

Still a problem. I guess I have to fix my own CSS

Now when I test this - the content is missing when I return back from the Preview screen

The timezone code is working

Now when I test this - the content is missing when I return back from the Preview screen
