moving and upgrade phpmyfaq

Hi,

I want to move phpmyfaq in another server as I will do with my website,
but I would like also to upgrade to 2.5, I have 2.0.15 now.

So, my question is do I have to do what the updrage says in the documentation
or I could just install in the new server the 2.5 version and just import the old database.

Will this work? Do I have to change something before or afterwards?

Hi,

you cannot import the 2.0 data into a 2.5 installation due to changes in the database structure. You should move the 2.0 installation and then do the upgrade.
